Spiderweb Security LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Is This Real? mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.
Is This Real? is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data. The content you scan — screenshots, pasted text, or shared messages — is analyzed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device intelligence. Nothing leaves your phone.
We do not collect or have access to any of the following: the content of screenshots or images you analyze, text you paste or share with the app, your contacts or address book, your location data, your browsing history, device identifiers or fingerprints, or usage analytics or telemetry.
All analysis performed by Is This Real? happens locally on your device using Apple's on-device machine learning capabilities. No content is sent to our servers or any third-party servers for processing. We do not operate servers that receive, process, or store user content.
When you purchase Is This Real? through the Apple App Store, Apple processes your transaction. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment information from Apple. For details on Apple's data practices, please review Apple's Privacy Policy.
Is This Real? does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.
We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or any other services that collect user data.
Because we do not collect data, there is nothing to retain. Any analysis results displayed in the app exist only in your device's local memory during your session.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since our app collects no personal data from any user, it is suitable for all ages.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page with a new effective date. If we ever introduce features that change our data practices, we will notify users through the app or the App Store update notes before any changes take effect.
